Murano Glass Toucan birds done in the aventurine and bullicante technique. The cobalt blue on these pieces is exceptional with the contrasting metallic gold striations in a crisscross pattern througout each bird. The artistry on these birds is exceptional. The aventurine technique is done by melting flecks of metal into hot molten glass giving a flecked metallic appearance to the finished glass sculpture. Bullicante refers to the technique used to add small bubbles throughout the glass. Dimensions: 11.5" tall x 5" wide x 5.5" Condition: Excellent condition
