Video Transcription: Hi, this is Jennifer here with City Farmhouse Antiques and I am here with this week’s find of the week. This week we have these antique style new, made to look old rustic garden planters. They even have an antique style lock on the top and bottom of the headboard with a galvanized steel bottom insert that is about 18 inches by 13 inches. These planters are really neat because they collapse down for easy storage and set up and they don’t even require any screws for assembly to put them together. All the sides fold up and fold into each other. You can see here that they fit right into each other at the corners and this piece is extremely sturdy. Made of wrought iron they are made to look rustic and vintage as you can see here. They are about 17 to 18 inches tall. All the dimensions are on the website. You can arrange your plants in here like these red geraniums and decorate with Spanish moss around the pots to cover them up and make them look really pretty or even plant your flowers right into the insert with potting soil. I also have another idea for these that I like even better than this. When I saw this piece I wanted to use it as a cute little dog beg out on the patio because Coco Bean loves to sunbathe. For kicks I took a patio cushion and placed it inside the bed. We tried it earlier and she loves it. This patio cushion is a little too big, but you put a patio cushion in here and make a little dog bed. Coco Bean…(calling for Coco Bean) let’s see if she will get in here and model for you guys. This way your little dog or kitty can sunbathe in a comfy spot. I think this piece would be really cute in a shabby chic or farmhouse country style home inside with a lace eyelet sham as a dog bed in the house in the corner almost as a decoration. This piece is super sturdy so they aren’t going to be afraid to get in and get out of it and even for an elderly dog or cat you can see where the sides go down and it’s not very tall so they can easily get in and get out of it without any problem and it’s cute. Let’s face it dog beds all over the house get old and ugly. Coco Bean…(calling Coco again). I don’t think she is going to come out and model for you this afternoon she is out hunting for turtles. Anyway be sure and check us out on our website at www.cityfarmhouseantiques.com where we have more than just antiques and give us a like on Facebook. Ohhh here she comes….Come on Beans. She really likes it already. There you can see it’s the perfect size. Have a good rest of the day!
FYI- Coco Beans is only 7 lbs.
