Video Transcription: Hi this is Jennifer with City Farmhouse Antiques and I am here with this week's find of the week. These two antique porcelain pieces came as a set with hand painted blackberries. I don't really think they are a set. I think someone tried to make them a set and they did an excellent job as these two pieces are gorgeous together especially as a centerpiece in a beautiful collector's cabinet or on a side table. The colors are so vibrant on these pieces. You can see this footed console bowl has the gilded feet with the gold in a scrolled pattern. You can also see the hand painted blackberries and broad green leaves and it has the matching inside pattern and scalloped gold edge around the top of the console bowl. This is antique porcelain and marked made in France and in beautiful condition. This charger plate is square with a scrolled edge and measures about 8" x 8" and you can see there is a little more wear to the gold gild on this piece which is normal for a piece this old. It is marked Limoges on the back with the initials J.P.L. verifying that is a piece of Limoges. It does have a little bit of chipping to the underside which is good because you can't see it from the top. You probably can't see the chipping with this white background. This is a beautiful set. I really do like them together even though I don't think they are truly a matching set they are absolutely gorgeous pieces together. So that is this week's find of the week and perfect to get you ready for Spring.
